Monitoring & Mitigation

This service area includes monitoring activities following our habitat restoration projects and mitigation of current and potential impacts from anthropogenic and natural events. The monitoring and mitigation process often includes studies using visual belt transect surveys, quadrat sampling, underwater videography and photography, and a combination of methods to determine the baseline occurrence and abundance of marine organisms and habitats and to evaluate the success of restoration efforts.
